Duxnutz Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Hopefully its just some nut and over quick.
MIKA27 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 What I find a little disconcerting is the live feed of this via ABC has a terrorist analyst stating "Oh well, it's not really a high priority target, just a Lindt cafe..." Ahm... Maybe these guys don't care about WHAT the target is, just so long as they can get an audience and harm people. I really hope there are no casualties. 1
Guest rob Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 This is terrible. I'm so upset by this crap anywhere in the world, let alone our own backyard.
garbandz Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I hope things will calm down without any casualties...............
baragh Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 My office is two doors down, we're on lock down right now. Very few details at the moment just mostly hearsay 1
WarriorPrincess Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I hope the hostages stay safe with no harm done to any of them 1
OZCUBAN Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I agree with everything said above, prayers to all concerned Hope the police have some good snipers
ARRV Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 My chambers are 100m from the cafe. Was walking back from court this morning when heard yelling and screaming (9:50am). Didnt think much of it - not unusual for that to happen outside court from time to time - so went into my chambers. Then someone in our floor got a text to say it was an armed robbery at the cafe. Then after the third central alarm message in our building to stay away from the windows I thought it was time to leave - so got out of there around 10:30. I fear this is not going to end well. Thoughts and prayers are with the hostages and police
joncat Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 My thoughts and prayers are with all involved. I hope the situation will be brought to a quick and peaceful conclusion. I am following this online with the Australian News and am impressed with how the authorities are dealing with this. They are out in full force while at the same ensuring not to do or say anything that may escalate an already serious situation. Impressive. Other countries could learn from this. Once again our prayers for all those affected.
Shikar Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Terrible. Terrible. Sadly another nut job waving a Flag of Islam while being a bloody terrorist. I pray everyone is safe and this terrorist is eliminated ASAP. Yes. I am a muslim that wholeheartedly condemns this!!!! Regards. 3
Fuzz AI Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 My office is two doors down, we're on lock down right now. Very few details at the moment just mostly hearsay Stay safe, Will! Hopefully this will all be over soon and the nutjobs don't do anybody any harm.
cigcars Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 > SIGH< will this kind of horsecrap never end??? We all hope and pray those people get back to their families well, safe, and whole. For God's sakes
Habana Mike Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Not good, not good at all. I despise the people and groups that think this is a way to accomplish anything. It never ends well, their goals (beyond the terror itself) are never realized, and too many generally decent people suffer in their wake. Please let this end without any unnecessary bloodshed and let's hope and pray that we see less and not more of these types of events in the future.....
saintsmokealot Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 My thoughts go out to my Aussie Brethren at these times.....
MrGTO Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 If they wave the flag it will not end well. These pieces of **** always mean harm and or death..... I agree in the fact that i wish the hostages do not get harmed but i fear it will not end well... 1
finecigar Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 My prayers and thoughts are with these innocent lives at jeapordy right now. What a tragedy..
