Best year of CC production?

This may or may not been asked in previous post. I am wondering the forums thoughts on which year has been the best year for CC production in gerneral.

This excludes pre 1995.

From my experience I would say 2003 or 2008

My experiences 2008 was one of the better years with the stock I have been smoking.

IMHO: '13, '05, '02

Yes I realise you are excluding pre'95 ,,, but I honestly believe the best years right now(for smoking not aging any further) are about '89 to about '94 just now ,

It has also come to my attention lately that '97 and '98 cigars are just starting to take that step beyond being great cigars too whatever comes next ,

'08 and '12. Haven't had enough of '13 and '14 stuff yet, but with maybe only another year of resting of some of my stock, I'll be in a better position to say if these two take the cake instead.

08 and 12 for me have been the best in consistency, quality and flavor combined. I cannot comment on a large scale of cigars before 06 as I have not had a big enough sampling to advise.

I have superb sticks from '05 however I think it was not that good all around year in general. '08, '11, '12, '13 have been great for me. 12, 13 maybe stands out a bit more. 14 already been good as well

In a given year, certain factories(>cigars) can be light years better than others. Dare I say, it is an indication of what people smoke than anything else.

To be honest, everything post '08 has been pretty dang good. I have a lot of '09/'11/'13 stock that is superb.

ha ha... love it. so far we have 95, 97, 98, 02,03,04,05,06,08,09,11,12,13,14.

"13" has been good for me, and so far "14" has had very few disappointments . Looking forward to putting some age on both!
