What is every one up to for Easter?

From Good Friday to Easter Monday it is a public holiday here in Oz it is also the beginning of the school holidays and traditionally the time when Aussie families head away camping and to the beach to spend time together and enjoy the simple essence of family life while enjoying the beautiful warm Autumn weather.

I will be taking the kids away from next Wednesday to Moreton Island national park where we will 4x4, fish, snorkel on the wrecks. It will be great to spend some quality time

This weekend is catching up with brothers and mum and dad. Taking mum to church, food, laughter, walk along the beach. Hopefully an early morning surf Sunday.

I have one of my last PL Magnums I think I will fire up over the weekend.

I will be going to Mass every day with my family. On Easter Sunday, the extended family is coming over, about 30 people total. Probably drink a lot of wine, most likely no cigar, since it will barely get above freezing outside.

I'm returning to work after 5 weeks on Saturday. Grandparents are down for the Easter period as well, They're a spritley 86 and 92 so I'll be spending as much time with them as possible. Got a friend coming down as well so I think there'll be a ride in there somewhere.. Just working on keeping myself occupied really..

Lots of Church and 7day occupation of a busy railway station for upgrades, all nights. After all that I'll drink and smoke whilst eating meat till it hurts.(Gave up meat for Lent)

I will be working for The Dog on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (even though the stores are closed). Then off to London Sunday night for a week. I will definitely be smoking then! If I get off early on Sunday, I hope to join the brunch if I get off early enough Sunday.

No cigars in the plans this weekend. just quality time with my son and the family. My sister is coming to montreal for the weekend with my two neices, so we will be going to a sugar shack on saturday, spend time outside and just have fun.

My office is closed Friday for Good Friday so that means I will only work 6-8 hours that day, but I will probably accomplish more than I have the first 4 days of the week.

Saturday morning will include an Easter Egg Hunt hosted by a friends with about 75 little hooligans running around.

Saturday afternoon will entail a wedding reception for my cousin. Should be a completely rednaked good time and I am looking forward to it.

Sunday will be Easter Mass in the morning followed by a day with the wife and little girl. Sunday evening will be an Easter dinner with my siblings and mom and all of the neices and nephews running around.

So, we will be completely busy but we will be surrounded by family and friends.

We're hosting the services for Holy Week this year, so lot's of toing and froing organising those. Friday I'm conducting a wedding (the reception is at a very good hotel, hurrah). On Easter Sunday I'm conducting three services (eek) the first at dawn, then an 11am family service, then a joint communion service in the evening. After that, if I'm still standing, I will have my first drink for a while (that's what I gave up for Lent). I feel the Calvados bottle will diminish greatly...then sneak some time with the family, even though I'm not on holiday until the week after.

Easter Services with the Family on Thursday, Friday, Sunday. Easter Brunch down at the Hyatt on Sunday afternoon. Taking the kids up to Disneyland for 3 days starting Monday over Spring Break.

Plan on smoking plenty of quality marcas during the Break!

My oldest grandson is having a hockey tournament in Buffalo,starting tomorrow till saturday.So my wife and I will be going there and cheer on the team.
