Status of 2009, 2010 and 2011 launchings :rolleyes:

· Pending until December the Wide Churchill tubes ( pending since 2009*) No one has missed them so far :lol3:

· Still pending the Julietas in aluminum packs of 5’s for October. Women around the world are crying out for them :pooped:

· 2010 Limited editions due to be out in late August. I am assuming August 2011

· 2011 CDH specialties (Ancient replica and Coleccion Habanos X anniversary for September) :cofcig:

· Partagas Serie D No 5 and Serie e No 2 postponed for September. :rotfl:

· Cannes launching will not be showing any special release for the Duty Free but the Serie E No 2 in Boxes of 5’s. Will be a small booth

2012 Launchings

Cohiba : Piramides Extra 54 x 160mm. It will be the first figurado to be added to the regular portfolio of the brand. Added to the Classic line so the flavour profile is Medium to Full. Security measures added on the band as in Behike (later on it this sec. measures will be expanded to other lines)Presented in a SBN box of 10’s. A tubed version will also be made with security seal stamped on the bottom of the tube.

Romeo y Julieta: Petit Churchills (factory name Petit Robustos) 50 x 102 mm. Semi plain box of 25’s. Also in tubes. So you will have the line completed with Churchill, Wide, Short and Petit…so they say. I hope you are as excited as I am :fuel:

Partagas: Serie D No 5 in packs of 3’s (tubed)

Rafael Gonzalez Marquez: Perlas 40 x 102 mm in boxes of 25’s and carton packs of 5’s, displays of 25’s. Now that is a seriously good release. :ok:

Quintero: Favoritos 50 x 115 mm (factory name Conchas No 2) Short filler! Cellophane wrapped bundle of 25’s. Can always use another cheap and chearful.

Limited Editions

· Montecristo Montecristo 520. (to mark the 520th anniversary of the Encounter of the two cultures) Factory name: Maravillas No 3. Girth 55x155 mm. CBB Box of 10’s

· Partagas Serie C No 3. Girth 48 x 140 mm SBN 10’s

· H.Upmann Robustos Girth 50 x 124 mm CB of 25’s

Reserve

· Romeo y Julieta Reserva. Black lacquered case of 20’s. 5 000 cases. From 2008 harvest, 3 years aged minimum . Size chosen : A Churchill (Julieta No 2)

Coleccion HabanosHabanos Collection Book

· Cuaba. Book of 20’s. Factory name Bariay (named after the Bay where Columbus first landed in Cuba) Commercial Nam: Dulcineas. Double Figurado in silver paper foil (47 x 232 mm) initially 1.000 books. Ken has his name on the first!

Replica of an Ancient Humidor

· Ramon Allones . Vitola: Imperiales * (I don’t have the dimensions nor the quantities to be produced)

CDH exclusive

· Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure de Luxe. Factory name: Magicos. 52 x 115 mm. Double banded with the CDH band.

Habanos Specialist Exclusive

· San Cristobal de la Habana. Jar of 25’s. Factory name Geniales. Comercial name Torreon because it resembles a Tower of a Fortress since the top it’s actually an ashtray. Initially 2.000 white and Beige Jars.

Duty Free Specialty

· Petit Robustos Selection pack. Cohiba, Monte, Partagas, Romeo y Julieta and Upmann: 10’s. 2 of each brand.

Regional editions for 2012

· Good news in that only 8 have been approved. Some details hopefully later.

Thanks for the info Rob! IMO most of these sound just as dull as always when it comes to new releases/RE/LE.

Except for one thing:

RG Perlas sound like a great idea, as do c&c Quintero Robustos. But before I get excited I just want to see this years le's and new releases, I really want the RA Allones Extras and the Upmann Half Coronas.

Say What??? Seriously, I didnt see these. It had to be Italy though didnt it, damnit. Hands down my favorite cigar smoked to date was an 86 La Escepcion Longos.
