  2. I took your advice and stopped in at Davidoff in Monaco. I located Frenchy and asked for the seconds bin. He replied “ If you need seconds...you don’t belong in Monaco.” To which I said “ No, it’s OK, I know Rob Ayala”, He punched me in the nose and demanded I repay the 50 bucks you stiffed him for. As he had security escort me to the door ( Think Oceans 11). I heard him mumbling something about worthless Discontinued Pound notes. Looks like there’s one less friend on my Christmas list????

  10. RASCC on London Bridge, looking past HMS Belfast to Tower Bridge. Spicy little number. Bought as a single and not sure of box or age I’m afraid. Nice though; a lot of flavour and smoke.

  16. A wonderful Boli Libertador. Sadly, I dropped it later and the wrapper exploded. Still smokable, however.

  18. BUP ABR 18 PSP Edmundos No filter applied to this photo. If you could have snapped a pic of my face at the moment I cracked this box, it would have looked exactly like my profile pic! I believe that really nice seam of Lusi in 10 ct boxes recently were also a BUP code. Note to self... Bravo @El Presidente!

  19. SUN DIC 16 Dantes. I dry boxed it for a few days and burn and construction were very good. Flavors good but I think these need more time. I’ll revisit next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  30. I think we, on this forum, may highly underestimate the number of cigars the catalogue companies sells which are a couple bucks each. For a lot of cigar smokers Cuban cigars or even premium non Cuban are not within reach. There are still catalog cigar buyers out there in droves. People, who a Labor Day sampler of 30 cigars called Cohiba, Macanudo, and Punch for $85 had them pacing the floor today waiting on the mail to show up. There are people who believe having any Fuente or Padrón is having something very special. And to them they very well might be. Not all Non Cubans are bad, some are quite good. Not all Cubans are great, some are quite bad. I really think a person reaches a point in life where the outward appearance doesn’t matter much at all. What matters is the enjoyment vs. value equation.. (Then you buy PL Montecarlos forever and grouch about terrible ELs! Haha! Just for you @Ethernut) Enjoy what you smoke and if you find something you like hoard the hell out of it!

  33. Trying out the little new guy. Tatuaje Nuevitas Jibaro No. 2. Nothing little about it, it's a big honkin' toro. Maybe nuevitas is meant to be dimunituve version of the number 9 instead of new? I dunno.

  37. First stick in Beijing. Man, they have really cracked down on indoor smoking.... luckily, the weather is very nice. This was better than the last one I had, but by no means a great cigar for my taste.

  40. Really enjoying the Regalias purchased from here. Funny thing is I prefer them to the HUPC given their rawness of flavor. Great value if you come by a nice box.
