Popular Post Lucas Buck Posted January 18 Popular Post Posted January 18 ‘23 Esmerelda - these are so damn good fresh. They will be spectacular somewhere down the line. 10-15 years? Rich brioche French toast. Heavenly sweet baking spice retro. 1:45 32 1

Popular Post Nevrknow Posted January 19 Popular Post Posted January 19 My first Don Pepin. Ever. Got this from my secret Santa. (Thanks Nick !) Smaller RG and or Lanceros have always been my favs. My last New World cigars years ago were just in no way shape or fashion comparable to my CC's. I eyed my gift cautiously and thought no way I can smoke this. I was wrong. Maduro/dark wrappers are not my thing. But...you know me, there's always a but. 😄 This cigar has in fact somewhat renewed my interest in New World cigars. Somewhat. Construction and draw was flawless. Cut the cap and go. All the way through however, the taste vaguely reminds me of a stage in a CC. Just can't quite pin down which cigar it is. That being said, quite one-dimensional throughout. Not bad at all, just no variety in it. All in all, I would certainly not turn one down. I may delve into this one a little deeper. It did indeed reignite a small interest in New World. We'll see. 24

Not at all the cigar that was intended by PJ. It was, in fact, the cigar that made me realize NCs don’t need to be rested in order to be the cigar they are rolled to be.

Popular Post Sudzdaddy Posted January 19 Popular Post Posted January 19 Bolivar Coronas Extra, USU VC2 (August, 98, Villa Clara). Punch exposed a well-bunched cigar that burned like a dream! Leathery spice and medium-bodied out of the gate, went on a linear progression and finished full-bodied/flavored. 28 2

Popular Post Chibearsv Posted January 19 Popular Post Posted January 19 You could do a lot worse than a Dip 2 as a daily smoke. Generously gifted by a brother. If P2 and HU2 had a kid. Punchy in flavor and lighter in body. Yum. I might follow up with 1 from my stash just because I need more. 34
Popular Post Gemini_Man Posted January 20 Popular Post Posted January 20 '24 RyJ Petit Corona. Tasty. 29
