Aladino 85th Anniversario featuring pinareño-seed tobacco. Fair amount of approachable spice with Hay, cedar, floral, and citrus with a slightly sweet creamy chocolate undertone. Interesting combo.

‘09 PL Los Andes Peru ER (5 X 50) - cold draw walnuts. Crème brûlée - retro brings coffee cake. Second third lemon cake. Superb construction, sweet & succulent throughout. Absolutely stellar!

Smoked the RASS last night and it was phenomenal! Lots of Cuban twang in it and really reminded me why I love Cuban cigars so much. I was happy about the cigar being so great too because the last two or three of these RASS were not as great. I’d say 5/5 on for this RASS, hopefully the rest of the box is the same. 
 

Tonight’s smoke is a Davidoff Yamasa. First third was great, lots of sweetness and chocolate, very smooth. Right now I’m fighting a little bit of a tough draw in the second third but still flavors are firing on all cylinders. Small hints of pepper on the retro-hale, but still a lot of chocolate and also starting to hit some leather notes. Loving it! Happy Weekend everyone!

It had a cocoa and citrus twang that was supplemented by a distinct Cointreau-like, ginger sweetness, but the last third was mainly bitter chocolate. Overall, it was very, very good but no doubt it would benefit from some more rest.
