RyJ Ex.4 from 2017, in gorgeous Nafplion. Took my boy to see Mycenae today, which is just the most extraordinarily ghostly, evocative ancient site from around 1300BC.

I really want to love RyJ. Every now and then you get the red fruit, Turkish delight and Levantine spiced wonder. But mostly you get a fairly strong, somewhat less interesting smoke with faint edges of sweetness. This was one of those. But the setting makes up for it.

My yearly Monster series cigar - originally bought just because of the name - who doesn’t like a cigar with your name. Turns out it’s pretty good and the coffin box is cool as well.
