Popular Post jakebarnes Posted May 13, 2022 Popular Post Posted May 13, 2022 TUA JUN 2021 RASS. Dinner plans at Swift & Sons got cancelled, so I had some extra time. As @Chibearsvsaid, it turned gorgeous out and I decided to break in the newly (almost) completed porch. Damn this is smoking well. An oily, rich flavor bomb. Sorely needed as my first attempt was a sad, a gophered Monte 2 that I just gave up on. Enjoyed with a Begyle Boat Shoes. 26

Popular Post ReturnFreeRisk Posted May 13, 2022 Popular Post Posted May 13, 2022 This du depute is really switched on! Excited because it’s the first from a new slb. Firm draw and construction are dragging out the enjoyment of sweet cream, soft wood, tiny bit of twangSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 27

Reminds me a bit of the Talisman but the long finish on it has some umami to it. There’s almost like a smokey bbq sauce to the finish. Least that’s what i got from it. The one picture was my fourth one. I like them! Cheers! 1

I really like them, although I am not sure they completely differentiate themselves from the Punta. Typical SCdlH richness--sorty of buttery molasses. Found the Prado to be a touch stronger/bolder with a little pepper. 2 1
Popular Post gthunderful Posted May 13, 2022 Popular Post Posted May 13, 2022 MUP December 18 HDMPR creme brûlée and cashews? Good stuff no matter how you peg it. 21
Popular Post inter4alia Posted May 13, 2022 Popular Post Posted May 13, 2022 This one's for you @jakebarnes, sorry it's not as good as some of my prior shots 😂 Against my better judgment, whatever that is worth after a ton of whiskey. Definitely going to regret my decisions tomorrow morning Crazy good to the last drop 23 2

Popular Post Frinkiac7 Posted May 14, 2022 Popular Post Posted May 14, 2022 Working my way through a random box of old singles. This is a Ramon Allones "Especial de Allones," RE Francia 2008. Campanas vitola. Picked it up somewhere in France in 2011, never got around to smoking it. Took off the bands to bring it back into the states. Draw is firm, burn a little uneven. Initial flavors are very similar to a RASS. Nice but nothing stupendous. If I were blindfolded it would be like smoking a RASS with tight draw. About halfway through the draw is still a struggle, and it gets a bit harsh and bitter and the burn starts to get wonky, so I chucked it. I'd rather have a good RASS. A pretty typical example of the REs of this era in my opinion...nothing to write home about. 20

Hopefully shall get my grubby mitts on one at some stage. Hope all well at your end too buddy. 1
