Pulled out my first Bolivar Belicoso Fino as the family went up to the lake and I have some tractor work to do.I'm shocked at how strong it is. I thought at first maybe I was confused and pulled out a non-cuban cigar. It is very tasty it is very tasty but reminds me why I started smoking Cubans with so much more frequency. This is more of a sit in the shade with iced tea smoke than drive your tractor and plant seed smoke.

If your box is anything like mine, I say cut and smoke. Honestly, I have not had the best of luck with the other vitolas in the magnum line. Maybe I had bad examples. Because of that, it's tough for me to compare the 50 with those. From what I've heard from others on FOH, the call to cut and smoke this vintage of the 50s is almost universal. Let's us know what you think if you decide to jump in.

I like the 50 the best of all the Magnum line. These and #2's are my faves of all of the current production Upmans.

2012 BBF is a great way to start the weekend. After a nice steak dinner this UPE SEP 12 BBF hit the spot. I was surprised the first half was under medium in strength but smooth complex flavors. Last third was full on strong that over powered the flavors a bit. Overall excellent with my Americano. Great construction.

Strange I have not bought another box of these since this one. May have to change that.

Thanks to @inter4aliafor posting on this and many other FOH posts on this Mag 50. Getting nice Coffee cream and nuts with some white pepper dust on finish. I’m covering the crack on the head with my finger and the draw pulls gobs of velvety smoke. Beautiful silky wrapper. ESL MAR 19 ? Cheers. Have a great weekend.
