Trinidad Vigia SLE Oct 2016

I thought this was my last Trinidad Vigia in my humidor but thankfully my inventory system via Cuban Cigar Website states that there is one more. Fortunately, I remember now where I put it so that I could fit all my cigars in my box!

At just on three years of age, I must say that today's Vigia was just average, I've certainly had better examples recently. This was mainly mocha, wood, butter and a little spice. Perhaps the re-lights diminished the flavours a little, no matter, I usually find the next vitola I have after a disappointment is always different.

BBF from 1998.  I believe I snagged this from the big dog pass winnings via @encephalization.  This is my favorite smoke and this is the oldest one I've had.  Outstanding smoke!  Still has a ton of punch to it and lots of smooth flavor transitions.  I'm in love.  Sad to see it go but what an experience.

This cigar is unbelievably small.

 

But not bad at all, honestly.

ASR FEB 2018. Time to try one. A little tight by the cut which a little PD took care of. Age won't help these lol. Beyond good right now. Big chewy clouds of bluish smoke. Mostly leather which is me. 40 minutes to smoke 1st third. Retrohale is earthy/mushroom, I must be part pig cuz damn that's good. Work of art ash. 2nd third big shift towards baking sweetness. Gotta go.... sorry for the review but I'm loving this. 24 to go, quality problem to have.
