Some of the previous ones had a gorgeous citrus note to them, this had a deep cocoa element to it instead which I adored, with milk coffee and some hints of nut and citrus there too. I still maintain that when a Montecristo No.4 is 'on' there's simply nothing better in the Habanos catalogue. Perhaps that's why they sell so well. If only they were all like this one! I am feeling your MC#4 Love @JohnS. I grabbed another PSP box last week on 24:24. And why the hell not. The PSP box i am into now is bloody crackers which puts me into many years of this marca at my smoking rate. Its all upside for me. 3

Well, actually this is this first one from this batch that I've such trouble with, and I just gave up on it and pitched it, but every other stick has been excellent... 1
CampDelta369 Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 same here. the other 6 from the top of the cab have been very good to excellent. The flavors very consistent.

Popular Post RubenF Posted July 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 15, 2019 Upmann magnum 50. Flawless burner/draw/construction so far and amazing flavors. I removed the second band 20
Popular Post RDB Posted July 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 15, 2019 The amazing exploding Monte 2. Wrapper was split right from the start, and I have always kept these at 65:65. Not critical, but definitely messed with the burn and flavours. The others from this young box (SMA NOV 18) have been v good. Second split was the sign to put it down... 14 2

They have transformed tremendously since I bought them from foh back in 16. First couple years they were unsmokable for me. Just started to smooth out this year. box code is TEA OCT15 2

Popular Post TTP21 Posted July 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 15, 2019 Started with a JL2. Second from a 6 pack and much like the first it just didn't offer much. The start had the faint citrus, chocolate type notes, but it quickly went harsh. 60 days rest and an early 18 box code so I'm not sure rest is the issue, but the remaining 4 will sit for a year or so. After about 40 minutes or so I stopped and moved to a Monte 5. Perfect! EPM ENE 18. Third from the box and they've all been absolute perfection. 20
Popular Post ElJavi76 Posted July 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 15, 2019 If it looks like a dreamy sequence, it's cause it is. I've been hanging onto this gifted cigar for a few months now. A giant sized thank you to my friend Elliot @SigmundChurchill. Elliot, no bs, you're everything that's right about friends and cigars. Thank you for your generosity! Today marks my 43rd birthday! I'm celebrating with family tonight. Again, which is awesome! But before dinner I'm putting down this gem. Hoyo de Monterrey Maravillas. Chasing with some Macallan 15, an espresso in an hour maybe, and seltzer is handy nearby to cleanse the palate. Snack is a Cuban pastry made from sweet potatoes. Aren't we lucky?! Cheers friends. 25
