Popular Post Duxnutz Posted June 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2019 This week. Getting towards the end of my supply of Serie du connoisseur no.2’s, Bolivar CE?, Half corona and now having a Tatuaje. Can’t remember last time I had one of those. Brought a shelter dog home yesterday. Trying to come up with a name. Currently goes by ‘scooter’ but doesn’t even respond to that. Any ideas on helping a skittish dog (9 month puppy?) settle in? 20
Popular Post JohnS Posted June 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2019 La Flor de Cano Grandiosos 2013 - Edición Regional Asia Pacifico ROL Oct 2013 If you aren't aware, the thinking on our forum behind Asia Pacifico Regional releases is that they generally need 5 years to 'open up'. After having this La Flor de Cano Grandiosos today, I couldn't express that notion more adamantly myself. The only recent exception to this maxim that I can recall would be the 2014 Diplomaticos Bushido, which was exemplary from the 'get-go' when it finally came out in 2015. If you have a 10-count box of this hiding away, do yourself a favour and smoke a stick to see how they are coming along. This was all butter cake and cream, floral notes, almond nuts and spice towards the back half. There was some complexity too, with strength and flavours picking up gradually through the thirds. What a great cigar! However, be mindful of under-filling as these can be prone to that. Construction and draw on this was impeccable all the way. 22 1
Popular Post Kai Ø Posted June 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2019 Finally got to try the Quai d'Orsay No. 54. Although the brand is mild, the young age gives it a nice kick! Quite like itSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 21
Popular Post CampDelta369 Posted June 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 7, 2019 HUP MAG46 for review weekend. A bit young right now. But still a pleasant smoke. The wrapper and construction were excellent. 22

Was very interesting to compare it to my box from May 18, which is the only other E2 I've tried. Which did you like better? Also what is your box code of the 18s that you have?

I don't think the 18s are ready yet. Dark oily wrappers, more down time needed. But I think they will be amazing in time. The 14 was much more mild than I thought it would be. If you asked me what stick is better today, it's the 14. But I think the 18 will be better than the 14 in a couple of years. Just my 2 cents. 1

Firm draw, but delicious classic Cuban wood notes accentuated by faded black pepper. An excellent vintage smoke. 30

Popular Post Islandboy Posted June 8, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 8, 2019 Rio Seco, just my second from the box. Like the first, there’s an intense sweetness of gingerbread, joined by a nice barnyard twang. Tastes great now, but I’m betting these are gonna really do something special with 3-5 years down. The ingredients all seem to be there. Aloha Friday gang! Edit: Intense sweetness remains throughout, but in the final third, this takes on a distinct flavor reminiscent of apple strudel. Quite delicious. 28

Popular Post LLC Posted June 8, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 8, 2019 Got home from Seattle at 2:30am and managed not to hear what happened in the Raptors game Watched the game on the deck and enjoyed a Puntillas. No picture as it’s now 4:45am but I’ll have something special tomorrow to celebrate a big win. Need one more win for the Championship. After 3 hours of sleep got up and did some stuff around the house. Now a TEB OCT 08 Bolivar Simones RE Canada . I don’t reach into this box often but it seemed appropriate to celebrate the big Raptors win Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 27

Popular Post KnightsAnole Posted June 8, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 8, 2019 Boli #1 2015, -struggled with this box over the years, never really cared for them that much. So experimented with a little extra drying out after opening the tubes. Result is a very good smoke. stored in tubes, caps on for 3 years, 2 months cap off 24hr dry box. Beautiful cigar 24
