yossie Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 ROMEO Y JULIETA BELVEDERES what I'm smoking right is very enjoyable for the price.
bnelly Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Bizarrely , given it's youth, this month the APO ABR - 09 Party SD4 has been my favourite. Dark treacle and bean flavours, yum. Blows the others I have, GOP SEP 08, clean away.
Kangaroo495 Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Gotta be the 05 ERDM Grandes de Espana which I reviewed here the other day.
anacostiakat Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Coming to the end of another month. What is the best cigar you have had during October? Personally I have had some crackers but a couple come to mind. late 08 Magnum 50 which reminded me of the first release. Sweet, rich, magnificent. Sep 08 Winston. They just don't get any better. the premier Churchill. Winston pips the Magnum 50 at the post. A Boli Inmensa gifted to me by RobG. Just fantastic Boli flavors. Thanks Brother!
PADDYWHACK121272 Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Had some nice 1/2 hour smokes: San Cristobal El Principe (EMA June 08) and Trindad Reyes (singles - no date). The Principe felt spongy and under filled but was a fine smoke with a nice mix of biscuit and dried fruit flavours together with nice nicotine bite from time to time. Good smoke volumes and even burn. I expected the Trinidad to be even better based of more complex aroma at cold and better wrapper / construction - while it was smoother overall, the taste profile for me was remarkably similar to the El Principe. Burn was slightly lopsided with good smoke volumes and light grey ash. Would give both a go again and was impressed at how the San Cristobal gave the Trinidad a good run for the money. Also Diplomaticos no 4. OPM ENE 09 (first czar purchase - will be back for more) have to agree with everything the guys said in the video review. Looking forward to more of these in Nov....
joeypots Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 The Partagas serie D #1 2004 EL I smoked the other night didn't suck.

Tampa1257 Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 A 06 Partagas 898 was the stand out cigar for me this month.
dstogie Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Would have to say my first Party Lusi '08 was the most memorable cigar. Smoking on the deck at the beach didn't hurt either. Just kept giving more and more flavor!
aavkk Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 hmm, I've also had some great cigars this past month. I had a 10-12 year old Party 898V and BBF with Leo "Bonvivant" that were both brilliant. I also had a very good Party D1 EL 04' at some point this month and finally a 98' SS#2 on Tuesday night.
perfectform Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 The 2 outstanding cigars I can remember from this month are a RyJ Prince of Wales and a Jul 07 BBF...
