What’s smoking good right now?

Every once in a while, I’ll grab a cigar out of a box that I haven’t smoked in a while and Bam it’s on fire. So what have you smoked lately that you just can’t keep your hands off of? If you could yell it from the mountain tops, what cigars would you say “Smoke them if you got them right now”

Shockingly, some Quintero Panatelas. Fairly young, even, Feb 25 date code. Not the most complex cigars, pretty much one note, but what a tasty note. Also an effortless smoke, very good draw and burn. Ash holds better than some of the long fillers I've smoked. Perfect cheap and cheerful back porch cigar that I don't have to think too hard about. I'm going to be hunting a few more boxes of these.

I'll second the 2018 Connie Bs. I have been floored at how good they are in comparison with more recent stock.

The MOFOH 2023 Robusto Trinity, good upon release, is on a tear right now.

‘16 Le Hoyo de San Juan - hard to imagine these getting any better

‘23 Trinidad Esmeralda - just incredible how good these are this young.

It's been a couple years but "rich and deep flavors" is spot on. Sounds like its time to revisit. These are superb. Potential 95+

Truly one of those grail ERs for me. Seems like they’re unanimously phenomenal. Would you say it’s worth what recent listings are going for on BR?

I have not priced them out on BR. Mine are from OR.

Partagas Mille Fleur from mid 2024.  Surprisingly solid for a young cigar.
