riderpride Posted January 17 Posted January 17 The whole family gets a kick out of this flick. A touch too young to play the game: Cheers! 2
JohnS Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I'm on vacation during January for the summer so I've been enjoying catching up on film from the Criterion Collection. If you're American, no doubt you would have heard of this company. This weekend's selections? The Graduate Heaven's Gate The Player McCabe & Mrs Miller 1

Top 5 all-time favorites. i am still outraged that dustin hoffman was robbed of the Oscar so richly deserved for Tootsie (also surely the funniest ending to a film in history - i cannot be eating when we get to the finish or it will end up over the floor). it was a brilliant performance by one of the all time great actors. sure, ben kingsley was not bad in Gandhi but not a patch on hoffman. he was robbed. if ever there was a political decision, this was it. 1
Chas.Alpha Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Welp. Contest is on. I’ve committed from my end. Watch Little Big Man and enter to win a tin of all 5 of the Retro Series. They’re good cigars, but the tin is worth the price of entry. I’ll start a topic… 1
David88 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I watched The Velocipastor last night. It delivered everything you could expect…

If you are a fan, as I am, you will enjoy it. I don't know how historically accurate it was but I liked it. The actor who plays Bob nailed him. Joan Baez not so much but that chick is hot.
