Battle for top 2 spots  will be close.  After that......

I really enjoyed the last couple of Epi 2's and so they made my sampler selection.  Couldn't lose going with the D4, Coro, RASS, and SLR Regios.

I couldn't bring myself  to put the Monte Open Master in the lineup.

I will include it if I ever do a poll on Dominican Robustos.

I feel the same. The Open series doesn’t have that Monte core.

What is really sad is that Montecristo does not have a regular production robusto/hermosos #4.

The Edmundo is the closest thing. It’s just a little bigger and smokes very similar to a classic Robusto. They just make us pay more!

So tough. And even tougher to leave the D4 out.

Coro, Epi 2, JL2, Upmann, ERDCS only because they have been so good over the last 3 to four years, pushes out the D4.

Do you think the low tally for Romeo y Julieta Exhibicion Number 4 is due to lack of members buying a semi-recent box? Had to add that to my 5er picks. I like that blend better than Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill. Exhibicion Number 4 is a more flavorful cigar.

Of the Robusto options on that list, I can see why RyJ isn't in the majority of top 5s. Romeos don't get a ton of love on this forum either. It's almost surprising that they made any top 5 lists. Churchill, Cazadores, and Wide Churchill are my preferred Romeos.

Short de Punch is missing from the list. Yeah I know it’s technically a petit robusto but only by a mere 4mm. If you didn’t know otherwise you’d call it a robusto.

Yes. I didn't pick it because of that. Personally, I've been avoiding them since about 2018 because every box just tasted like wood around there. I will try a newer box if it comes up.

Everything R&J has been a cherry log smoke. I freely give away the Churchills.

CORO, Epi2, D4, RASS, Famoso

In no particular order since it's a rotation anyway

Honorable mention: Connie1. Haven't seen a fresh CS in the flesh in ages.
