Your 2023 Relaxation Protocol?

Let's face it.....there is a fair bit to get wound up about these days if you let it get to you :cofcig:

What is the one or two things that you are doing  that completely destresses you?

Share the wisdom.

1) Ultimate "Lazy-Fitness" routine: I sit in the hot-tub for about 25 minutes and let the jets work the tension out of my back. Then I hang upside down on my Teeter inversion table for a few minutes and stretch.

2) Cooking: I just got the newest version of the America's Test Kitchen Cookbook. I love their recipes and they always turn out great! I find the process of cooking allows my mind to focus on something other than work while still feeling "productive".  This year I plan on learning how to cook more Latin and Asian dishes.

3) Reading magazines NOT on the internet.

4) NOT using my phone.

I really need to start working-out again.  A good fitness regimen is probably the best thing I could do for my mental and physical health.....My flabby body (i.e. Moobs) has started to jiggle when I brush my teeth or put on a pair of socks. yikes.

Everybody is lifting weights, running, and playing music.  Me included, but one thing is the real prime mover to relaxation... 🍷

I don't agree with Hillary Clinton much except for the need for occasional "Chardonnay Therapy".

Learning to surf - I'm pretty sh*the but there's something relaxing about just being in the sea, really clears the head, you're either bobbing about waiting for a wave or focusing on not drowning, very little time for much of the world's usual worries.

engage with Canada's national plant then play video games from the late 90's.

generally heroes of might and magic III.

Drink maple syrup and play video games? Just don't get any syrup on the controller, it will slow down your responses in a FPS.

I recently got into building adult Lego sets due to my 5 year old being obsessed. It’s incredibly relaxing and melts away the stresses of the day.

I shoot film photography both 35mm and 120. I love the delayed gratification of it. The fact that I need to be intentional about what photos I take. Complete opposite of digital, for me at least

Obviously cigars but goes without saying. That’s why we are all here.

I have re starter a Lego build collection. I figure all Legos are adult Legos if an adult is putting them together. For Christmas I got a Lego typewriter, I am going to be the first human to type out an emoji on a typewriter.

Planning how to sue people who annoy me

Pay the filing fee. Write words. Service. Boom. They're sued.

Not as simple when you plan to sue the state mental hospital for failing to timely honor their statutory obligations to transport incarcerated individuals for evaluations pertaining to competency. You almost need to certify a class to avoid mooting each individual case.

Heaven's to mergatroid it's a  S. 1983 case?!?!?!  In that case, you will also need to upload stuff onto pacer and pray a lot.  Hope you have deep pockets those cases can bite you in the bank account! They won't even transport inmates for simple hearing in some courts, so I've heard.
