I have but not to have a shorter smoke but help deal with a plugged cigar. If perfecdraw doesn't work and dry boxing doesn't help then it's the next thing I do.

Yes, early in my career I tried to cut a Churchill or DC in half. Two cigars in one! Thought it was a brilliant idea. Not so much. Wrappers don't respond well to that maneuver.

Does that include Toscano cigars? It's pretty common to cut those in half but they are made differently...

Even if you get it to work, with cigar glue or otherwise, the economics of CCs, won't make it worthwhile considering the price of DCs and Churchill's vs half Coronas (though maybe it's a bit better with petit Robustos).

Was told a story that a certain Sir, used to love his HDM DC so much he'd be having them lying around all over the house. Now, David used to cut them in half and give one part to his assistant, and smoke the other one himself for years. Worked fine.
