Popular Post Habana Mike Posted May 2, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 2, 2020 RG Slenderella 28RG x 6 7/8" Slim Panatela So I will go with a long and skinny, one of the skinniest. Why, you ask? Well, I always like to start a Saturday with a well-aged cigar and hand cannons have not been around quite long enough to qualify. So today I select the RG Slenderalla - a slender stick with decent length from the SLB 50 - fairly unusual packaging. Well balanced in the hand. Colorado Claro, thin veins, very delicate wrapper. On the clip I find a perfect draw with notes of dark roast coffee and toasted bread. Starts very softly with mochaccino notes - slightly sweet coffee, cream and cocoa. These very skinny cigars must be smoked like sipping slowly through a straw. There’s a danger they’ll overheat and produce harsh notes. Matter of fact this vitola is about the size of your typical drinking straw! Burn is razor sharp. Excellent construction. Can't imagine the skill it takes to roll a cigar this size well. Strength and body pick up a bit coming into the middle third with a bit of funky stable is the background. Still a slight sweetness. Mouthfeel is somewhat drying, salty. It is performing very well on all fronts. A tanginess creeps in as we approach the final third. Strength continues to increase. Dark earth, roast coffee, molasses now in the mix. The cigar went out once near the beginning and once toward the center. This smoke lasted well over an hour and was outstanding. Easily a Love it! on my rating scale. 96/100 35

Last week left the owner of one of the buildings I am building in Nor Cal a few of my every day favorites and got some glowing reviews. Cigar people are good people…. Generally. the Pig 3
Edicion Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 Very nice cigar and review. Didn't know they existed this long and slim. No direct correlation, but for a second the cigar name brought back a movie scene from Blood In Blood Out (if anyone recalls). 1
Rhinoww Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 The long skinny sticks always surprise me for the skill in production and amount of time to smoke. Thanks for sharing the review. As I start to round out my collection more, I have been starting to stock up on a box of skinnies here and there to enjoy in 5-10 years. A friend was over recently for a PLMC and called them sinister.
