A friend got back from Cuba and surprised me. Brought me back a 10er. If these smoke the way they look... Holy moly am I in for and great experience.

Back from the Island with a few boxes and some rum. The BRC from clearance arrived in the post today. Lovely MSU OCT 18.

I also picked up some custom rolls from Alex: 25 each Puntillas, Coronas and what he calls Talisman. I hope the bands fit!?

first up, I was lucky enough to stumble across this nice box of 898s (which appear to be increasingly dwindling supply).

I hope they start cranking these things out again soon, but like anything with Habanos SA, it seems ill advised to count on it.

Ask him about those next time you go. Not sure which Vitola it is but a little longer and wider than the Talisman with a shaggy foot. I don’t think it smokes any better than the Talisman but has a really unique and cool look to it. I was surprised how close the wrappers he had been using lately look to the LE wrappers. Must be some magic connection, particularly since he isn’t LCDH.

All stickers were on. Total blind buy in regards to what the contents of the box looked like, but he hit the old 5 run homerun. What a stunning box. The wrappers are flawless.

I'm blessed to have friends like him. I'm sure he'll read this too. LoL! Cheers bro!

My box of PSP/HQ Mag46s just arrived. It is one of the ones other than “mostly,” ABO MAR 19. My box is a month earlier and a UED code. I know I have a box of Mag46s that already has a year on it. What the distinctions mean is lost on me. They look delicious.

Nice catch! I suppose that is Cuba being Cuba. I wonder who else had that typo? I also wonder if it will be valuable like a rare franking error? I could have a $7.50 ribbon on my hands! ??

my favorite size!  They were on the bucket list so I'm excited to dig in.  I'm pleased to have found the bachilleres as well, but I wish there had been some molinos available (another of the lost dalias I've been eager to try).  I did just manage to track down a box of des dieux though, so I'm not cursing my luck by any stretch (of course, I should wait to speak until they're in-hand).
