Was there last week and received word that BHK stopped being rolled due to lack of quality wrapper. Could be interesting or a lie to protect product for festival.

A lot of old threads and posts around of us posting pictures of mastercases.  Yes, it does sound more magical than it is sometimes.  Especially when you see something lovely you've been looking for, and then snoop inside, only to be disappointed by boxes and boxes of Monte Opens, as someone might have re-purposed the box in that particular shop.  LOL.

Yes, usually a white lie to save for the "big weeks".  And like others said, "privileged clients" and such.  It is a business after all, this cigar thing we enjoy, and the Habana Libre LCDH is definitely no slouch when it comes to lies and illusions to make a buck and sell product to big-money-clients.

These were no longer to be seen on Friday. And no Behike in the city according to them.  No chance those are coming out for the public on Monday. Just a story to move along...

I landed in Havana about 2 hours ago and I'm getting the same story. Tomorrow will be spent hunting for cigars, so I'll be able to confirm for myself. This new 4G is awesome. A bit spotty, but as quick as the wifi at a lot of places.

They hid them because people kept asking them if they could get a box.  So yes, they will be available.  Now I don't know if they are going to limit them to singles or boxes.  I asked that, but they didn't respond.

Not surprised. That shop is the worst at demanding big “tips” for boxes. Usually well stocked though......

love a country that has stock available, the customers present to buy said stock, yet they hide them away from the customers who are present and willing to buy the product.

They probably want to let the locals get first crack at it. Do you blame them? If they sit them out at once and dont limit the sales everything would be gone to the first scalper in line.

These boxes aren’t going to locals. Especially at this shop they are going to the biggest tippers which tend to be overseas customers .

Well hopefully someone shows up Monday morning and lets us know what actually happens.  The workers lie often.  Someone here posted that there are no Behikes on the island.  Yet I have photographic proof that they do have it.  And they told me "Come back Monday".  Only 1 day away until we find out what the truth is.

But seriously, multiple people told they never existed and not available. Same story on Sat at The National when the box was facing out of the humidor glass. “None on the island and sell in 5 min when they come in...”
