If you had no constraints to the decision...

1. What would be your one choice of a city/town to live in?

& 2. What would be your one choice of a city/town to holiday in?

Live in the country, no city for me, love visiting cities, but need the outdoors.

Amsterdam, I really enjoy the people and the city.

Agreed. Ever get a chance to go to Zurich?  Love that city.  Looking forward to going back to Switzerland again when I can.

No, but it's on the list, planning a trip now for next spring.

1. London - love the diversity and the weather, though the politics there is a joke

2. Machu Picchu - an extinct city, but would love to have the time/money to visit one day

Good question. Tough call.

I think I'd probably give Monaco a try. It is within driving range of the French and Italian Rivieras, easy access to all of Europe, Switzerland and Africa. It's a short hop to a sunny respite in Costa Del Sol, Spain, and it is home to one of my favorite Grand Prix venues.

1. Live: Sylacauga, Alabama

2. Holiday: Virgin Gorda, BVI

Unless you're the world's biggest Jim Nabors fan, I have to assume you're from the 'Caug.

BVI sounds nice- especially if anchored off the coast in a nice sailboat.

Mystique? Nothing mysterious about the Monterey Peninsula, it’s just a nice place. Hell, if it gets boring you can always roll on over to Salinas to be on Live PD.

1. Maui. My home by default and birthright.

2. Hood River Oregon. A laid back place with micro-breweries and wilderness, and close enough to the city charm of Portlandia.
