El Presidente Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I first ran into Cigar Oasis in the late 90's when I bought a Bugatti desktop humidor and it was the accompanying humidification system. 20 years later and I still have/use both the humidor and the original Cigar Oasis. In Dortmund I noticed they had a booth and so i wandered over and spoke with Donna. it is great to see a company still in business after all these years. Has anyone else ever used one of their products? 2019 CO Product Catalog_5.pdf2019 CO Product Catalog_5.pdf https://www.cigaroasis.com/ 2019 CO Product Catalog_5.pdf 1

Highly recommended. 1 1
Bohemio Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Been using the same cigar oasis for over 12 years. Great product. However soon im gonna need another one since im running out of room. I blame you. ?? 1 2
Ritch Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I had one but moved over to beads as the cigar oasis can only add moisture and is unable to take moisture out the air.
Lotusguy Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Curious as to what you are doing to create airflow. I just recently purchased a Magna 3.0 for a large cabinet and I’m guessing now I need to connect some elaborate fan setup to move the moisture around?Mine came with two remote fans and then I also have a PC fan that circulates the air constantly.
HuffnPuffff Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Yes, I've used several over the years and have been seriously impressed with the way they've kept my cigars. Now I live in Hong Kong- where it is way hotter - I've moved to a huge cigar fridge with built in ability to regulate moisture.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
fitzy Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I’ve been using one for over 20 years for my non Cubans. I did replace it once but it works really well.
irratebass Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I have the Magna 2.0 in my cab.....after I removed the beads that they recommend (caused mold) and just using DW, works like a champ, and it doesn't run as often as it did. Great product, and people.
SCgarman Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Been using the same unit since 2008 in my end table style cabinet. It is called the Magna now, when it first came out was a different name. Those little fan motors have a lot of miles on them!
Homer Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I have cigar oasis plus 3.0 (in the bottom of my small cabinet humidor). it has 2 times started to run constantly full speed and the humidity was 75%. I think is not reliable but I will give it one more Chance. Now I also have 65% Bovedas. 1 2
LLC Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I’ve used one in an end table type cabinet for 15+ years without any issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
godpheonix Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 yup. love the cigars oasis. i have had them since i restarted enjoying cigars 7+ years ago. no issues except one that i dropped that broke, that one is on me!
nKostyan Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 There is a theory that cigars can not be ventilated during storage. Perhaps for humidors this the device suited, but not for storages. I have enough boveda, and in winter I add a gel moisturizer.I've been thinking about buying oasis, but I doubt it...
Hookmaker Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I have three magnas- one in each 6’ humi. They work ok. I don’t have extra fans, and since all humis are completely packed, there’s a difference in rH top to bottom of 3%. Ok with me.
BuzzArd Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I have two currently, but neither are in use. When I did use them they worked well. If i had a small-ish cabinet i would put them back in service. I got a Le Veil when i moved up to my first large cabinet because CO didn’t have anything that large at the time. Not sure if they do now. When i finish the cabenet I’m currently working on I’ll check them out before I buy. The 1/2 gallon capacity of the Le Veil is really useful in AridZona....
Shelby07 Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Bought 3 of them about 15 years ago. Im using 2 and they are still working great. I have a friend who was having trouble maintaining his cigars so I “loaned” him one a couple of years ago. It corrected all of his problems and is still running fine. not worried about the loan. He’s probably given me back its value several times over in cigars. ? 1
Capt. Corona Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Went from an oasis to beads to boveda I've finally have enough to rotate them from humidor to recharging container when needed. We'll see how this goes for the next 10 yrs ?
RichUK Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 I have an Oasis Plus that I have used for many years. Has been faultless, though the WiFi unit I subsequently added wasn't that reliable.
El Presidente Posted September 30, 2019 Author Posted September 30, 2019 That is great feedback. I will link Donna from Cigar Oasis into the thread as it will put a smile on her face. Consistency in cigar accessories isn't all that common. Nice to see a product that has continued to deliver over the years 3
Cigar Surgeon Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Casa Magna 2.0 in my end cabinet. The only think I'd trust my Cubans to.
5thStarChicago Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 I have 3 of them in 3 different humidors (2 deck tops, 1 cabinet) and they rock. I highly endorse them.
Homer Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Cigar oasis 3.0 is useless piece of junk. I have Adorini Prato cabinet humidor and cigar oasis 3.0 + large Bovedas. In the morning all was normal and humidity 62%. After returning from work I once again noticed that the oasis had some sort of short circuit. The fan was running constantly and the humidifier showd 32,7% humidity. Thats impossiblse since it was 62% in the morning. Other hygrometers were 67%. its impossible to use that humidifier since it’s so unreliable. This was 3rd time this year that this happened:( 1
IanMcLean68 Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 I use a Cigar Oasis Plus in a 28ct wineador, but I generally only need to use it in the summer months when the ambient humidity is super low and the temps are high. Other times I rely on beads and bovedas. I'm very happy with it. Its been reliable and consistent and has given me that added bit of insurance I needed against low humidity.
