wineguy Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 The Odd couple with Quentin Tarantino and Chris Rock starring.
Lotusguy Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 You're in luck; Dexter has a new season being made Cigar Surgeon may be more happy! For real?? It was one of my favorite shows for the first few seasons.
SenorPerfecto Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Rock & Morty. I know it's still on, but it's the darkest, funniest, most mind-blowingly imaginative show on TV ever, so whenever it gets cancelled, add another year please. If you're a cigar guy and you haven't see R&M... dude.

Same here, it certainly dropped off those last few years, I think the John Lithgow series was where it should have ended, from after that the decent seemed to start for me. But yeah, supposedly it's being filmed at the moment 1
Hadroxity Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 Jericho, the cliffhanger is one of the biggest disappointments of that era. 1

That was a fantastic series—the only one that did the books justice. Apparently it got good ratings, but it was just too expensive to produce for A&E.

Or maybe Dexter could get a 5th season... Space: Above and Beyond was good at the start, but it just went down the tubes, rushing the plot when they weren't going to renew it for more seasons. Though, if you tried to bring it back, some may claim it to be a Battlestar knock-off. I'm a sucker for tv shows that never made it. Love to see, "Mann & Machine" ("Almost Human" had a similar premise), "Automan", "Space Rangers", "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr." or "The Highwayman". And as much as I want to see "Sledge Hammer!" remade, it wouldn't be the same without David Rasche. 1
Notsocleaver Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 Space Above And Beyond would be better as a remake than an extension, but that would be my vote. Firefly has probably reached such a cult status that another season could only disappoint, like arrested development did. 1
Boxer1 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 Of all the shows I enjoyed watching Carnival seemed like it had the least closure. 2
IanMcLean68 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 The original Cosmos - A Personal Voyage. It wasn't a seasonal series, there were only 13 episodes. But I'll take any excuse to make it one, just so I can raise Carl Sagan from the dead so I can watch him in another series. 1
GavLew79 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 Tour of Duty. As a teen this was fantastic. I wonder whether it would stand up to today's HBO quality programming. The Stone's 'Paint it Black' was the opening music. Ace. 2
anacostiakat Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood off the top of my head.
Deeg Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 Probably Freaks and Geeks, just because it was cut criminally short. 1

SOFLO88 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 I second the idea of Deadwood. The Movie still didnt finish much. I need a whole other season to get these tied together.
sjmistry Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 Tough question because many come to mind. Mystery Science Theater 3000 If allowed others: Chappelle Show Unsolved Mysteries X-Files and just because of the stupidity that it was, Beavis and Butt-head I enjoy television shows where each individual episode is a specific story (with the exception of X-files towards the end). -Shake

I thought the movie was terrible but the series was one of HBOs best. I'd suggest we have a best line from Deadwood contest but it would be taken down after the first submission.
GrouchoMarx Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 I'd have to say its a toss up.... either gillgan's island.... or green acres. 1
dobbs Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 i don't know how they'd do it, and it would probably screw up the series, but i'd watch another run of cowboy bebop -dobbs 2
stogieluver Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 Seinfeld, but only if it were a long lost season found. They’d never be able to recreate the magic now. 1
