FOH AUCTIONS DISCUSSION THREAD

FOH Auctions Kicks off today at 11am  www.fohauctions.com

This thread is for general discussion and commentary.  It is not to be a thread where people make disparaging comments about product or other peoples bids. Do so and you will have a break.  They are only cigars people 

• Auctions will normally run for 72 hours
• 6 to 10 new boxes a day. Up at different times. 
• There will be some "buy now" stock at time to time. 
• All stock on FOH Auctions is currently in our lockers
• We will be inviting selected members to put their own stock (outside of the locker) on the platform over the coming months. 

Minor issues will be fixed as they come up. This is a major undertaking  

Enjoy it. FOHAuctions should complement the daily 24:24 nicely

The pictures of the Magnum 50 also include ones for Cohiba 1966. Guessing that is one of the other boxes coming up today.

I will put up some of my stock tomorrow at no reserve.  You can always get lucky in the big city

Ben deserves the credit. It has been 2 years in the making. 

There are still some minor bugs to iron out but we will get there before long.

Also noticed on the PL robusto photos that there were 2 box codes photos. Think one is from the estupidos

Thanks Havanaclub. I have logged this issue with the devs. It is related to the same problem with the Cohiba 1966 / Mag 50 photos.

I have been receiving this throughout the night. Could be something on my end but this site and other have been working.

Also, I like the email notification after a bid. Will I receive one when I'm inevitably outbid too?

Looks fantastic, and the first offerings are already very tempting.

I'd like to ask - is there any anti-sniping measure in play? Sniping is one of my great frustrations with online auctions. I have looked through the rules and FAQs, and may have missed something.  Or maybe it will be apparent after observing the first few auction closes.

We will keep an eye on it and make any necessary changes in the July update. If it proves to be an ongoing problem, i would look at automating a time extension if a last second bid is consistently made.
