cfc1016 Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 It saddens me to inform everyone that @Wertman has lost his mother today. He's going through a lot right now with family, and (with his permission, of course) I thought it would be nice if we could all come together here, reach out, and offer him our well wishes. He's contributed a lot to this community, and impacted a lot of us personally. I thought it might be nice if we came together as a community and showed him how much we appreciate him. Joe, you're a great friend. Glad to have you in my life, and I'm sorry for your loss. 2

Popular Post Wertman Posted April 30, 2019 Popular Post Posted April 30, 2019 Thanks yah it was a tough one. She died of lung cancer only 3 years after retirering. Crazy how you work your whole life and look forward to retirement only for that part to be cut so short. I had cancer last year and thought it was crazy going through that. I did amazing and I feel better than I ever have before. She unfortunately did not have the strength to fight. Chemo is just a hard thing some people do great and some people can’t seem to tolerate. This community of brothers and sister can’t forget our Canadian sister have been amazing. The way we rally around one another in need the fine if need is just inspiring. I am very humbled and greatful to have such friends. Thank you guys for all the love I sure need it. 12

I dont know you at all but it is clear that you have continued her legacy by passing your love and kindness to others (I creeped on your posts and all is super informative and supportive). Glad to have you here on the forum.
