It's never too late to realise that Physical Graffiti is a classic album made up over 50% of songs leftover from Led Zeppelin's previous albums (to that point in 1975). It goes to show just how good a band they were. 1

Physical Graffiti is a gold pit for sure that needs more play throughs from myself. One of the tightest bands you are likely to hear. Had ‘The Song Remains the Same’ gig on the Tele earlier and they’re probably topping my ‘wish I was there to see it’ list of bands before my time. As a (shoddy) player of guitar myself, there is a level of enjoyment in hearing Jimmy Page shred blues licks for hours on end. They can all play. Some massive heights across their work! 2

The music video has Leland Sklar playing, but the actual recording is none other than Nathan East. What a bass line! Isn't it just! I lust after his 6 string there too. I think the music video was shot during the 1990s live tour when Sklar did the bulk of touring bassist duties though East was back for his live tours later on. 1

RupertPupkin Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Perfected my Sunday gravy and meatball recipes so I’ve been listening to a lot of Louie Prima lately. ...And one day I know they’ll say just a gigolo, and life goes on without me!

Habanos2000 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Been a huge Scorpions fan since the early 80's. Saw them 3 times, first in 1988 Monsters of Rock festival then twice in the 2010's. Now they're in a residency in Vegas. Klaus pushing 80 now, doesn't move like he did in this video, but neither do I any longer... 3 1
