Popular Post golf4less Posted February 9, 2019 Author Popular Post Posted February 9, 2019 Humidor arrived on Tuesday, I’m guessing one of his last ones. Let it run for 3 1/2 days to season and filled it up this morning. Very happy with the fit and finish and the rh seems to be holding rock solid. Glad I went with the beveled glass instead of the solid doors, something about looking over and seeing the stash. 8
Derboesekoenig Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 Wow that is so cool. I love your wood flooring, and the fact that you got the humidor to match perfectly with it. Beautiful

golf4less Posted February 9, 2019 Author Posted February 9, 2019 It’s currently holding 40 boxes and around 60 singles and I think with a little creativity I should be able to squeeze in 12-15 more boxes and 2-300 singles. Beyond that, I can utilize my old humidor that sits in my basement.
TBird55 Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 Very nice, I remember when I first received my Aristocrat, was so excited and just loved it. Now a little over 2 years later, love it just as much if not more. Enjoy....looks great!

Proud to own one of the best. Bob is still fantastic to deal with. 12 years, and looks like new. Two things though. 1. At 12 years of age, I’m really curious in the inventory picture. 2. If those speakers are in use, move them out from the wall when in use. Sound will be 100X better.

Borna Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Hey! I have a question regarding your large humidors. How do you prepare it? Whipe down method? I have a quite large humidor, 600ct size and I did the whipe down method, but I wonder if I should have done it any other way? Whipe down, with a bowl of destilled water that stood in for 6 days - constant 74% before I put in my 65% which gives me 63-66%. Feels like I have done it correct, but not totally sure. I appreciate if you can write down how you guys do with your big humidors. Best regards, B

GotaCohiba Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 My $.02 Never, ever, never wipe down a humidor to get it seasoned Too much water for the wood too fast 3

I have an end table style cabinet and use the cigar oasis humidifier unit ( the largest one they make). When the cabinet was new, I just let the humidifier condition it for about 2 days and then placed all my boxes inside. With active humidification as opposed to passive, it will humidify a cabinet humidor very easily. And the more boxes you keep in it, the less hard the humidifier will have to work. If yours is a large desktop style, use a 320 gram Boveda pack. They are very large, the size of a paperback book. 2
Baccy Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Untreated wood is not mean to get soaked with water. It really makes you wonder who started that trend of wiping down the wood... weird 1
