suggestions for FOH videos

i raise this more out of interest then any vague belief that rob will take a blind bit of notice but i was curious to see what people wanted to see.

can i start by saying that if you want to suggest dodgy rubbish, may i in turn suggest you also ask for rob to do them with smithy.

and i'll start - i read great things about Hoyo DCs and i know rob has raved about them. personally, one of my most disappointing boxes. from 2000, every cigar bland and lacking any interest. such a shame and one of the very few (i should say amongst many successes) failures among rob's recommendations.

if rob can find decent ones, time for us to do them.

There has been a review of the Grand Reserva Lusitania, but I can't recall seeing a recent review of a regular production Lusi?

Also wouldn't mind seeing a Juan Lopez No.1 and No.2

I know the thought doesn't thrill you Ken, but some more Petit Corona reviews would always be nice (there are lots of great ones, honestly!)

i very much concur with Lusi's. and the JL's. not so sure about the cigarettes. but i do like PLPC's. i suspect rob feels there is little point in driving all this way and then only doing a smoke that lasts a few minutes. if he wants to tack a second on any time, i'm fine with that.

Ken, I mentioned to Rob awhile back when he was down in Sydney that I'd love to see a Petit Corona review so I was grateful for the Por Larranaga Petit Corona review last year.

Is Punch Punch within your preference to sample? They've been excellent lately. Otherwise, I notice you did the Romeo y Julieta Churchill 2 years ago when they were stellar, I wonder if they still are. And, you did Cohiba Piramides Extra 4 years ago, I wonder how they're coming along?

i should add re the Tangs that i pulled one of the very few remaining ones out of the box in storage to smoke a while back. put it in a mixed box back here - an upmann band. and completely forgot i had done so. was looking for something to smoke a few months ago and grabbed a nondescript upmann cigar from the mixed box. blown away by it. could not think what it was - too good for anything. penny dropped a few days later. they are truly spectacular.

I would like to see some of the cigars that are smoking great right now.  Something I could watch and the following week buy on a 24:24 knowing if it's a great review I am going to have one hell of a smoke. Like the punch punch as of late or Robs Epi 1s he loves.  It's difficult to find good reviewers and also being new hard to spend the money to buy blind.  Your reviews would really help us new guys.

Revisit the RACF. IIRC it made Rob a bit queasy. They have 8 years of age on them now. Should be interesting.

I am interested in these monarchs you are talking about. I did some searching online but there isn't much on them. Did they come in tubes within a box or is that a fake pic of them?
