Popular Post El Presidente Posted April 6, 2016 Popular Post Posted April 6, 2016 I miss you mates Just spending a couple of days with youngest Tom fishing. Ben (eldest) is up tomorrow. Outside of 24;24 I haven't been able to spend as much time on the forum as I had hoped. There is livebait to procure, meals to prepare, clothing to wash We were hit with some nasty winds early in the week. Easing this afternoon and the next three days look good. In the end you make the best of it so we have been fishing off the pontoon to date. Out on the boat tomorrow. At least Tom has perfected his cast netting skills! We cast for baitfish but they have been hard to come by so far. Fishing has been a mixed bag with "mixed" being the operative word....10 different species of fish so far out of 25 landed. From the normal Bream to Cod + eels, Fingermarks, Whiting, Rays and something called a Happy Moments/Rabbitfish. Poisonous little buggers. Cigars a plenty. Red wine some Great days. Off for an evening/night fish now. Be so careful with these. One spike and you are in a world of pain. Happy Moments/Rabbitfish/Black trevally if I haven't responded to an e-mail or PM, please bear with me and I will get to it Sunday/Monday. There is only so much one can do 8
Tommyz Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Looks like you're having a blast! I'm sure everyone here agrees with me when I say the emails and PMs can wait, enjoy your time with your kids, that's the most important thing in life! Tight lines!
LordAnubis Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Whats bait fishing? catching small fish for bait? arent there size restrictions on catching small fish? Brilliant work though mate! Don't let the young fellas outshine your fishing abilities though!
PapaDisco Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 That's some nice fish there! Why is the Black Trevaly called a "Happy Moments"? Is that Australian humor??
Fuzz AI Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 That's some nice fish there! Why is the Black Trevaly called a "Happy Moments"? Is that Australian humor?? When you get stung, think of some happy moments in your life when you pour hot water over the wound. Hot water (as hot as you can stand) is the only thing that relieves the pain.

MooseAMuffin Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Great pics! Unfortunately I am land locked so the fish I catch are incredibly boring compared to yours. Makes me jealous!

maxcjs0101 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I have been hooked on this guy's fishing videos in Youtube - Andy's Fishing Channel. Didnt know that even bait fishes have size limitations down under. No wonder the fishing is so good.
