If so, your thoughts and whether, in your opinion, it's box worthy or not. Thanks for your input ladies/gents...

Only had one, but liked it. Its fairly mild and bot the kind of cigar I would reach for most often, but still so that I'll consider a box

What was the flavor profile Troels? Did you get the impression that it mite develop some mongrel (guts) after it settles a bit? It's a really young cigar...

I've had a couple, a very tasty mild cigar with perfect construction, a nice burn, good smoke production and very typical RyJ flavor. I've buried a full box at the bottom of the humidor and left a second to sample from once or twice a year to judge when they're ready. I'm guessing these will age into a nice mild aged tobacco, fruit and cedar treat, but of course only time will tell. Not something I'd say is a "run out and buy it, your life won't be complete without it!", but I think I'll be very glad I picked these up once they've aged a couple years.

Another LCDH Release winner in my book. Definitely box-worthy (or, in my case two-box worthy).

Im no expert - and certainly not on aging, but my best guess is that you wont get more punch, though some of the flavours might get more distinct. A mellow Churchill could be an attempt to describe the flavours. What I remember most clearly is sweet cedar - in a nice setting

Would anyone care to share their thoughts on how this cigar is developing now at around 2 years old?  It has recently piqued my interest!

Would  a certain "fire sale" be the reason for the pique? lol

You got it.  Always interested, now just piqued to a new level.

I haven't tried them, but I am piqued as well!

Good stick. Just had another one after placing my order earlier in the day. I've been through one box of the OR and they've all been solid and, most importantly, no construction issues or ugly wrappers.

Now that 50 cab of Punch DC that slipped into the shopping cart somehow made the order expensive :lookaround:

Thank you for the responses.  It wasn't really if I should buy but how many.  I have no doubt they can improve with more time.  I don't think it's fair to judge a cigar in the first couple years, glad to hear they are good now.

-I missed the Mag50s last month but have a 09 cab that I will tap into one of these years but I should grab a couple SLBs for back ups.

-You can't go wrong with another cab of Punch DCs.  They'll be something special in a decade if you can wait that long.  If you can't then dress boxes are all the same.

I was gifted one from Mus, smoked it about a month ago maybe and it was a great smoke I'll pull up some notes later, if I made any.

Had one last year at a LCDH and the cigar was muted; not showing much flavor.  I think it has promise and patience will be rewarded.  Let off a lot of smoke and I decided to pick up a box either way as I am fan of the cedros line in general.
