Running out of space in my humidors so I'm thinking of using 1 cab or box to put the odds and ends of various almost finished boxes together, so 3 or 4 RA's 3 or 4 Bolis etc all in 1 box. Should free up some space, any downside?

as long as they fit and they're all Cuban - all good

Don't do that. Each marca will fight each other, then beetles will hatch, and mold will occur. Not to mention the dreaded migration of flavors.

Yes but it will also induce Plume.

But only with the cellophane on ;)

Really? I don’t really know myself because I haven’t stored different cigars together for a long time, but I have heard the opposite from other on this forum. I have heard it doesn’t make a difference and flavors don’t migrate. Maybe you’re kidding around?

You'll be fine. Go ahead! The only issue with mixing cigars is if you have flavoured ones, which you don't have.

I don't think it matters. If I have room I store the same cigars together, but when I get my robusto sampler, I put them in my humidor draw net to each other. No big deal.

Short term for lets say a few months is fine. If you plan on aging for years then I would recommend separating them. You can also take the wax paper that came with the boxes and create a "barrier" between the marcas as an extra measure.

Why?

I'm currently aging RASS and Epi 2's in an Epi 2 cab. I'm not particularly worried about it.

I have 10 year aged boxes with mixed up cigars this way. Never noticed an issue.

Only issues are not knowing box codes. I thought I would remember them when I put the cigars in......

Regards.

^Yes. He was kidding. It's ok to store different cigars in the same box obviously as long as they fit. Folding cigars is bad.

Regards.

I heard folding cigars only works if you roll them up in plastic wrap first. I tried it with soup once.

Didn't work out.

They still make flavored cigars? ;)

Cigars need age to marry tobacco. If 2 different cigars are touching each other during the aging process doesn't this make them marry and contribute flavours to each other?
