cigarsdelcuba Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 They have finally began to hit stores shelfs. Not sure if I can indicate Duty Free price on here. But lets just say expensive.
ramon_cojones Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 great can't wait to get my hands on some 1
shlomo Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 afaik you can post prices so long as they do not ship cigars.
CanuckSARTech Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 On the last day of the Encuentros Partagas, there was a mastercase of these that had just been delivered. Case # 1 of 66. Can't remember the box code shown, but it was Sep 14. I'll try to post the picture later.
shlomo Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 #1 of 66? That seems like hundreds and thousands of boxes short.....!
Cigar Surgeon Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 No sense having them hit the shelves during the Partagas festival when people would buy hundreds of boxes ... 4
Bulldog4 Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 That would make sense avrus just have to laugh cuba being cuba
CanuckSARTech Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 #1 of 66? That seems like hundreds and thousands of boxes short.....! No, not really. That would be mastercase # 1 of 66 for that code. (Sep 14). Maybe that's all that was done, at that factory, during that month, until it was time to change the code.
Popular Post earthson Posted November 25, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 25, 2014 Now available with an alternate band... 7

... Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 #1 of 66? That seems like hundreds and thousands of boxes short.....! Well, that should amount to somewhere between 40,000 and 45,000 cigars total. Sounds about right...
Cigar Surgeon Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 The review will be up shortly. I'll have to find a garage sometime this week to smoke and review mine and get it in for the 2014 review list.
cigarsdelcuba Posted November 25, 2014 Author Posted November 25, 2014 I can tell you there is more then 66 MC produced and that the price is anywhere from $495 to $520 depending on location etc.
kenshiro Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I'm curious to see what the reviews will be like across the board. I don't mind a big RG, but this is getting out of hand. 2
Popular Post tmac77 Posted November 25, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 25, 2014 I had the opportunity to try one of these in Havana last week. A fat cigar indeed and not my normal preference as a vitola as I prefer 50 or less. As a result I was hoping that this cigar was going to be a dud. Unfortunately it was far from the dog rocket I was hoping for. A robust flavour profile and surprisingly smooth considering its youth. If I were doing this blind there I would not have pegged this as a cohiba. If I were to draw a comparison I would say that someone decided to blend a Cohiba 1966 with a Monte 520 and this is what they came up with. It was noted by a friend, who was smoking this cigar with me, that this cigar it is like the best of two different women. One that knows how to cook and the other who knows the ways of seduction. This cigar is a keeper. 7
Popular Post FLB03TT Posted November 26, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 26, 2014 Yet another argument against monogamy. 5
Bartolomeo Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Smoked a couple pre-production ones a couple of weeks ago and scored a banded one at Rob's party last Monday, will have to smoke it tonight to compare it 2

Not really sure how many boxes you consider to be a "master case"...? I thought there were different amounts depending on sizes. Even then, 40-45K is not even close. The EL program is not all that limited. I would think in the hundreds of thousands of cigars. Between 250 and 500 K. Just a guess though. Might be even more.

cigarsdelcuba Posted November 26, 2014 Author Posted November 26, 2014 usually 200-300 MC are produced of limited edition cigars around the 100,000 cigar mark depending on the qty per mastercase and the brand
shlomo Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 usually 200-300 MC are produced of limited edition cigars around the 100,000 cigar mark depending on the qty per mastercase and the brand Really? Thats interesting. I swear some ELs have been produced in the trillions....lol
