earthson Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Ramon Allones by the gnat's ass (sorry Por Larranaga!)
nikesupremedunk Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Maybe it's all that marketing that's gotten to my head, but I choose Cohiba. I just love their flavor profile, but not too fond of their cost. The oldest cohiba I've smoked had maybe 2 or 3 years of age and it was fantastic. I can't imagine how the 5-10 year old ones taste. 1
Knilas Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 If you would have asked me a few months ago I would have said Bolivar= slam dunk. But lately I've been smoking a lot more Upmanns and I gotta say they are giving the Bolis a run for their/my money. But for now....its Bolivar. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
melies Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 El Rey del Mundo for me, I really miss all the old vitolas
JohnS Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 No contest for me ... Cohiba X2 No contest for me either, x 3! Cohiba all the way!
RijkdeGooier Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 All they ever made? Then it's Partagas no contest. Wouldn't mind trying out those invisible immensos ?
Jager223 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Partagas for me, something sublime for every occasion.
joeruby Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 When money is no object, and you can only pick one.. Cohiba all the way.
cosmoker Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Looking in my humi it is easy to see Partagas. I have 8 different vitolas of this marca. I can find one or any occasion and length of time.
NSXCIGAR Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 This one is a very difficult question for me. I would have said prior to 1998, the choice would be Bolivar by a country mile, with RyJ coming in second. In the modern era, however, I really don't think there's one marca that stands out as the best. Partagas and RyJ have the most diverse lineups, but have some inconsistency issues throughout the lineup. I like Monte, but the lineup is a bit limited. Cohiba has excellent consistency, but the taste has never been a favorite for me. It's never been a brand I spend much money on. I think I'd actually have to go with Monte. Quality has been high for a decade, very consistent in blend/construction, I like having a corona and lonsdale in the lineup as well as the Laguito #1 and #2. I'd probably start to pine for something a little earthier and stronger at some point, but the Monte blend can hold it's own.
zeedubbya Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Money no object Cohiba with Partagas a distant second. Love a great D4 or Lusi but would choose Robusto and Esplendido without even a second thought.
TheMonk Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Upmann. I'm an Upmann *****, and I'm not ashamed to say it.
eswary Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Toss up: Diplomatico vs Partagas Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
cakeanddottle Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 SLR I'd like them to bring back the lonsdale and pc but even with the three regular production vitolas it's still my pick
ksblazer Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 I'd have to go with Partagas. I have smoked many enjoyable partagas and really miss the SdC's and lonsdales.
terrantheman Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Partagas lonsdales from the 70's or H Up Super Coronas from early
scottyfwil Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 I have been a Monte guy since starting the hobby, but lately have been drifting more and more to Upmann.
