Interestingly, Monte Petit Tubos 10er boxes also have a clasp. First time I ever saw that on a dress box was on the PL Regalias De Londres UK RE.

These don't taste like Grand Edmundos to me...it's not as plain. The GE were for sure Montecristo crowdpleasers...but they weren't complex or rich. It was a good cigar, but I always finished one thinking it was seriously missing something.

These have more richness to them. Profoundly. The cigar is intense. To make it simple without making it a review, I'd say it has the flavors and strength of the D (for those who have had, I don't think these are quite ready still), but with a depth and finesse of the Maravilla #1. Very, very strong for a Montecristo. I believe these will be a hit.

I thought it was gonna be RG52 due to the name.. No longer interested in a box. Might do a split just for the sake of it, though.

I have yet to hear about the price for a box or per stick. Until then I will hold off on getting my hopes up that it will be reasonably priced. If they are over 20/stick I will go ahead and just invest that money into some ESP 2s.

Probably going to pass unless someone does a split with me. For 250 I can get 25 monte ESP 2 or another box or RACF or a myriad of other sticks that I need to stock up on at some point.

There are a bunch of cigars by relatively large NC brands that are 7x70.

I'm disappointed Habanos seems to be going down the same path the last few years.
