Not much more to add on this fine Corona Gorda which is my

go to ever day cigar.

I got hooked on the Epicure No.1 in 97, 98 and then on 1999 in Cuba.

For me, it was the perfect all day smoke in Havana. Why ?

Because this cigar is a no brainer, just a fine smoke that will not distract

me from any event or happening but at the same time delivering a great feeling

and wonderful tastes on my palate all day. Well done guys!!!

thanks for the review guys, I dont believe I have smoked a single one of these. In fact I had never had an Epi 2 until on the old deck last year in Brisbane which was thoroughly enjoyable.

Have not had a Epi 1 yet, but love the Epi 2. Is the profile much different due to the smaller ring gauge? I do prefer smaller RG.

No - I prefer the gauge as well. I think the corona gorda is one of the best sizes overall.

I smoked a box of 09 epi 2 that was ok and never tried the 1. Might have to change that

I tried an Epi No.2 a few weeks back and I quite enjoyed it. After seeing the glowing review Rob gave the Epi No.1 I'm going to have to pick up a single now.

This is not a cigar that I reach for very often, but I always have some around. They're good young, but I'm currently smoking from an '04 SLB, and they're great with some age. These have developed some of the character of an aged des Dieux, which I really enjoy.
