Rushman Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Nicely done. I'd agree that the Epi 1 doesn't always get the respect it deserves and that the Epi 2 is one of the top of not the top Robusto coming outta Cuba now. Thanks. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=20.631663,-87.070801
danistalking Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 The epi#2 is one my favs..I have 5 left from a box of 15 tubos from '10. They're an amazing smoke, smooth, creamy, coffee.. Have yet to get a taste of the epi#1. Nice review as always guys!
nick17 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 have never had one but definitely will have to give one a try
ckearns Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 always fun to do and even more so when we get to pick on ayala. Ken, I howled when you looked straight at Rob and said "and what are your thoughts, Smithy?" Great review as always guys! I've always enjoyed the Hoyo line and its nice to hear the epi 2s are performing so well lately.
McNasty Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 I had a 3 pack of Epi 2's thrown in for free with an order last year and was completely blown away with the first one I tried! Incredible cigar! I couldn't understand why I hadn't heard how brilliant they were before. Now after seeing this review I may have to purchase a box of #1's also. The #2 certainly had the flavor profile I'm looking for.
tmac77 Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 I have been reaching for the Epi #1 over the #2 from 09 boxes onwards. A preferable size for me and a solid performer.
