I have noticed a proliferation of gins at my local bottle shop lately and I must admit to jumping on the Hendricks G&T with cucumber bandwagon.

So, just wondering if anyone on the forum is much into gin and whether you have any favorites...

Typically Beefeater Gin for me, I like the delicate botanical notes and it is good in mixers. Though I seldom drink it neat, I find that a tiny bit of water opens up the botanical notes when drinking it neat.

I'm a Hendricks guy myself, best gin IMO... Hendricks G&T with a splash of lime and a cucumber slice is by far my favorite summer drink with a cigar

Hedrick's and Tanquery Ten

Yup. Discovered Hendrix several years ago and have been an alcoholic ever since. I like to crush ice with cucumber and mixing with hendrix. Personally, the cucumber chunks dont offend me.

Just so clean and sweet.

When I have too...Hendricks or Bombay Sapphire, but truth be told...I avoid gin whenever I can...

Hendricks with a cucumber garnish would top my list of gins. Someone above mentioned it, but it's a great summertime drink! Clean and refreshing during a hot summer afternoon!

i'm in complete agreement.

would add bombay's, but the original rather than the sapphire.

Ken, only us true Gentleman appreciate the Tanq. Ten!

Like others, I tend to have gin and tonics during the summer months and if given a choice, I usually choose Bombay sapphire because I quite like the perfume-like notes it has. Lately though, I've discovered a couple craft gins that I've really enjoyed and really liked their unique characteristics. See if you can find them in your neck of the woods.

Old Raj is a fantastic gin, and the one I find myself reaching for more and more often. Can be a little hard to find around here but definitely worth seeking out.
