They look nice but would be more appealing if they lost some girth. Loose the 2nd band too, as it ruins the look.

Looks like a SBN25 - hope they aren't too pricey!

I'm looking forward to trying a 50RG QdO! 50RG (Robusto) is my favorite vitola, but I'm very anxious/curious to see how it will be in a QdO with a darker wrapper.

Just expressing how sexy they look...

They do look good don't they... R the bands more orange than usual?

Nice looking cigars, that second bad ruins it though lol! I might get a box or a fiver...hopefully you fine people over at czars will do a 2011 RE sampler pack :)

So is Rob bringing some boxes back with him? Any idea on price because I would be down for one box if it's reasonable.

I do find the choice of size interesting. Aside from the Imperiales (churchill), traditionally cigars in this line have been on the thinner side.

I understand that robustos are popular and may help bring some awareness and interest to the marque, but in this case I might think they'd

want to also promote some of the tradition. Perhaps a corona gorda or francisco, for example.

hey Toronto/ fellow CDNs,

box split? If so, i would be down for a fiver to give it a try.

Sure. I'd like a fiver. :ok:

I agree Colt... my first thought was the same. What an unusual vitola the the QD regional. A Corona Gorda or Lonsdale and I would have been all over these like a fat kid on a smartie.

ok, depending on pricing, we have Tom, Frank, Tony, Riaz and myself in for a box.

Maybe Lisa wants to send one to us if we promise to post reviews.....

:innocent:

I think if we make it a video review she'd be more than happy too...

x2 I was disappointed when I saw the pic. I didn't even realize these were a robusto, the extra ring makes them look like a short robusto, which really would have been a shame. At least at 124mm, I may give them a shot if they are not too dear. I'm w/ Ross on the francisco... would have been nice w/ the demise of the BCE.
