I've been lucky enough to attend a few get togethers with 3 or 4 Toronto area botl's this summer and for those occasions I handed out some '16 Cazzadores, '19 HU2, '15 Connie A...all bloody great smokes. Personally the Connie A might edge out the other two as tops but really splitting hairs. Amazing how well recent standard production is smoking. Sent from my LYA-L0C using Tapatalk
Short review from NY Times... https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/27/movies/epicentro-review-.html Looking forward to watching this, hopefully this weekend. Sent from my LYA-L0C using Tapatalk
A sublime Mag 50 from an '07 50 cab shared when some some great botl got together for an ace summer night here in Toronto [emoji106][emoji91] Sent from my LYA-L0C using Tapatalk
Games and cooking with the kids, Netflix, whole record/deep listening between the headphones, wine and bourbon, a cigar or two if I can bear the temp in the garage (unfortunately quite cold around Toronto this weekend).
Was in Cuba for the week Feb 24 - Mar 2. Used Jorge as driver/guide and arranged to exchange 1:1 USD. I know slightly better could be had but wasn't going to try to boil the ocean for a few ten notes.
Flew back through VRA Monday. Almost non-stop recording in the departures hall saying CUC not accepting beyond security. USD, CAD, EUR all accepted.
Rob, cheers for the recommendation! Two friends and myself seriously enjoyed Jorge's company and service while visiting Trinidad and Havana last week. He's a cut above.
Hey Rob! Looking forward to meeting your son and catching up with Andy in Miramar. Will do my best to post a few pics, PG in nature of course Sent from my LYA-L0C using Tapatalk
Myself and two friends I'm travelling with will be there. A Canadian degenerate presence. Jorge (Rob's recommended man in Havana) is our driver...would he already be familiar with this address? Sent from my LYA-L0C using Tapatalk
Tortuga has great backpack options. I have a 45L that's been on several Asia trips and done well. The last couple years though I've been loving the Pakt One duffle...too build quality and really well thought out. Getting your travel kit down to the essentials (capsule wardrobe plus minimal toiletries) and into a 35L bag really does wonders for mobility. Sent from my LYA-L0C using Tapatalk
