El Presidente Posted November 27, 2009 Share Posted November 27, 2009 You might have noticed I have been away fror the past couple of days as I payed a surprise visit to Jose and Ingrids wedding yesterday To say they were blown away was a an understatement. I caught up with Jose the day prior the wedding when I called him from Hamlets back room at R&J. Ingrid did not know until she walked down the isle. Hugs and tears all round. I will post some pics upon my return. To two of the most wonderful people I know and love......may every day you share bring you strength and joyous happiness. From all of us here at FOH...CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! I will post some Havana updates over the next couple of days but currently off to Jose's house for the next day wedding shindig Cheers fella's! In English, a FRIEND is a FRIEND. A good one or great one, it's always a FRIEND. Indeed Engish is very poor when it comes to describing sentiment or attachment of one person to another, whereas in French it's more complete. What you have just told us has nothing to do with, what we call " un copain"= Friend It' much more, it's what we can call, " un Ami "= a true friend, a more then brother, a person that you would travel anywhere in the world to see. Friends are evrywhere, if you're not too much of an Idiot, you have many friends. UN AMI, is special, in France we say, If you have ,in your lifetime, one AMI, you can consider yourself a very lucky man.
