Long story short-I unknowingly had a Bartonella infection which caused a lot of havoc (brain fog/depression...the fun stuff LOL) In late 2023 I took Wellbutrin for a few months (which was awful) and it literally killed any and all joy of cigars...and basically went most of 2024 without smoking cigars. I'm getting back to my now well aged collection now!

I did a video on the best ramen in Tokyo. 8 options. While there are some gourmet / Michelin options that are out of this world... for the most part... I'll take a bowl of Ichiran at 4 a.m. stuck in a single person booth any-day.

Japan does a billion things amazingly well....but "synthetic solitude" is something I really love about Japan. You can be on an incredibly busy strip, duck into a little bar or restaurant and have yourself a little booth of peace and serenity. Then back into the melee.
