1950s? Probably pretty stale by now. Even MREs don't last that long. Sounds like you would be better off with some fresh Garcia y Vega. Their coronas are now "English" by the way. Presumably this works the same way as a breakfast that has been made "English" -- by adding beans and blood.

TBH, I have no clue. I tried to fix it, but it was too much work, so I just decided to light it up. Turns out to be one of the most tasty PLPC I have had. Not pleasing to the eyes, the rest was fine!😃
