Given to me by @Elpresidente in Miami. Actually watched the review after. Tough cigar to get into. Not bad, but not good. And I’m a huge fan of HdM, to me the Epis are one of the most underrated cigars. However have never had a Hoyo DC that I had the patience to finish.

Couple from the weekend.  18 Connie B was just ok.  Had some bitter vegetal flavors that poked in and out ?.  Which is odd, as I’ve never run across an Upmann to have that flavor.  I’ll stick with the A team.  As for the CoRo, what a box the MUO14 is ?,,,,must forget about it better to make,,,,,,,them,,,,,,,last.

if the band is loose, then slide it off. Most are tight and need to be peeled. Wait until you need to remove it though (1) as to avoid tearing the wrapper and ruining the smoke and (2) the heat from the cherry will usually loosen up the glue. With that being said, i have still made a mess of this judicious practice for reasons out of my control.

Put the second to last coat on to the new workbench tonight, will put the last coat on tomorrow night and this thing should look good when I'm done. Now to buy some wall cabinets to go with this for the garage.
