I've had a couple of these before, in fact these were my introduction to Davidoffs, I believe it was an 08' and was given to me in 2012 or 2013, so it was amazing....this one was just ok. My friend was smoking a Salamone something or other, I took a hit off his, and it was great......oh well I still enjoyed it and appreciated his generosity.

Oh my...another one from this box that I needed to reach for my PerfecDraw tool! I am so grateful for having the ability to unplug cigars, but it has been disappointing that I've had to do this twice from the first four cigars smoked from this box.

Despite this, the flavours were there again, shortbread, citrus and honey all perfectly balanced and pleasant. Where would I have been without my PerfectDraw?

Fired up this Hamlet over the weekend. This is an exclusive vitola offered by Up Down Cigar in Chicago, co-owned by our very own brother Phil @5thStarChicago.  I picked up two of these on Friday when Phil hosted the 2nd CHS Herf at Up Down.  If you are in Chicagoland and you have not visited his shop, you should stop by sometime. Really nice outdoor patio in the back and some of the best people I've ever encountered working at B&Ms. The regular patrons are a fun bunch, too. Pick up some of these Hamlets while you're at it. Very nice mild smoke. Perfect in the morning with coffee.
