Love those sticks. This and RGPE are some of the best values out there. Other's mileage may vary, but I've never had a bad PLP.

Ha! You’re absolutely correct. I confused it with the PLP. I need to get get better at labeling cigars. Either way, it’s a wonderful cigar.

2013 Mag 46 from a fifty cab. What a treat!

Had one of my last 898s (BLO OCT08) a couple of nights ago. So good I had another one for breakfast the next day. Such a beautiful blend, Partagas through and through but yet so complex. A lot of toasted notes on these two, both toasted bread and roasted coffee. Hope I can source a similar box in the future.

I have been rubbish at posting my daily smokes this last week (I’m on the cusp of moving house so everything is everywhere - my mind included)

So here’s what’s been under the flame lately:


Spicy and fruity RASS (2016)



Punch Churchill (2006) cinnamon spice, sourness, cream, and wood


Vegas Robina Classicos (2010) rich tobacco, leather, and dark chocolate.



Punch Royal Er Benelux (2009) creamy, citrus notes, and that sourness I love with punch.



Hoyo Gourmet twangy creamy sweetness, with peppery wood.


Connie A (2015) this one sang to me; just rich chocolate, spice, and orange notes (?!)


RyJ Short Churchill (2017) - creamy cherries, meets cedar.


Now we are back on track I’ll try and post daily again!

Seeing all the cabs up recently of shorts and PLPC I had to test mine out. Haven’t had one in a long while and trying to hold off as much as possible to get the full potential out of this cab I got from Rob and crew. This was actually one of my first boxes from Rob.

JUN 12 Coloniales can't remeber the factory code off the top of my head right now, but it's smoking pretty well. Not as good as I'd like it to. Just got these so I figure maybe they need to acclimate to my humidor for a few weeks then try again. Either way pairing it with a refreshing Boylan's Root Beer.
