Continuing with the EL theme. RA Extra from 2011. Final verdict - Fail!

It is a true roller costed cigar, many different profiles from the same box

I'm glad I don't feel too sad about thinking these cigars just alluded me with their magic, I had a real burnt animal tasting box, that mostly got dished out to friends in the end. I cant help thinking they were sort of trying to make the RACA, but went a bit OTT? Were your"s a bit of heavy? with charcoal/roasted meats?

An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

It was rather bland / one dimensional charcoal taste, so not far from your experience.

Although it eases my pain of giving mine to my friends, I would or preferred for yours to be stellar cigar my fellow FOH. I'm hoping the Party Privada are going to fill this gap.

That is nothing to be ashamed of, try the maduro, it has expensive proprietary Davidoff tobacco in it called "151". I haven't had the Connecticut wrapped one shown here, but I thought they weren't bad (aside from the horrible packaging :P)

Well, it's a gas station, so they haven't the maduro.  It's just the better of the available choices.   And yes, the giant prescription sheet they wrap it in is quite gaudy...

Three months from 40 and my very 1st Habano.

Monte 4 (POU DIC 12)

I do believe I'm in trouble now...

If a 2012 Monte 4 gets you- yes, you are in big trouble.

Nothing against Monte 4s, mind you, but there's plenty to be had in the blows-a-Monte-4-a-mile-out-of-the-water category.

Smoking with my father-in-law.

He's on the Juan Lopez Corona and I'm on the Sig III.

That's great you enjoy hanging with your inlaws enough to smoke.

I gave my FIL a 1998 ERDM Lunch Club, and he snubbed it out after half. After urging from my wife, I tried twice with her brother. A 1998 Monte 5 and 2002 Partagas Corona barely got smoked. I learned my lesson.
