This is very tasty now but I won't smoke another for 6 months, I won't smoke another for 6 months, I won't smoke another for 6 months, I won't smoke another for 6 months, I won't smoke another for 6 months, repeat 100 times...I really doubt that will help improve my discipline but it's worth a try! Was very good but started to develop some harshness and ammonia towards the end. I have 4 more that will be hidden away for a few years to really come into their own. I was also surprised about how nutty it was, but I didn't mind it, especially as Bolivar is not a marca I gravitate to. The Partagas Serie D No.4 is one of those cigars I've found which can really develop with age. Just as the Por Larranaga Petit Corona differs with age, I've had some PSD4's young that have been strong, earthy and peppery and older which have been more refined and creamy. I don't mind either on occasion. I have some resting myself. I've really liked the few I've sampled (young) but I still think they have the potential to improve with a minimum 3 years on them. We'll see. John, I smoked one on Saturday ULA MAR 15, started out with a wonky burn, which was totally my fault not the cigars.... So I waited till I could tap the 1st Ash. It had a bit of resistance in the draw, but not enough to make it a bad smoke, the flavors really opened up, and the retro was really nice. I believe I will be buying another box of these soon.
