There is a bit of the religious background in the choice, but we've just liked the name Xavier for ages. Jax is my wife's father's nickname (short for Jeeveruthnam...my wife and her family are of South African Indian background) and Edward is my grandfather's name, sadly he passed away last week and just missed out on seeing his great-granchild.
